Before we begin, please note:
- Everything you do on SilverCloud will remain completely confidential, with should it become apparent that you or someone else is at risk of harm.
- If your coach believes there is a physical danger to you or another person, or that intervention may be necessary to protect you or others from physical harm.
- If there is a legal requirement for your coach to provide information to others.
- If your coach feels that a child is at risk or is experiencing emotional, physical, sexual abuse or neglect this may have to be reported to social services in line with child protection guidelines.
- To give you the best experience there are elements of your information that we need to store and process, in line with our
- information you enter directly;
- information given about you (by a coach);
- and information collected automatically when you use the platform.

SilverCloud takes your privacy and security very seriously, and we consider carefully any information that we need to collect or store.
The only information that we collect is:
This includes personal details, information about your mental health or usage details (for example when you log in and which pages you viewed).
We do this in order to make the platform work (for example, in order to show you which pages you have viewed or to communicate with your coach), and also to better understand how it is being used so that we can keep improving.

When using the SilverCloud platform and programs, you consent to MU’s use of your personal data. Personal information is data that can be used to identify a single person. Personal information MU collects includes: name, date of birth, address, social security number, email, phone number and other information, including health information, that you give when using the SilverCloud platform and programs.
All personal data and information processed and retained will be handled in accordance with university policies and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency and accuracy. MU will not sell your personal information. If MU retains any personal data about you that is inaccurate, you have the right to have MU correct that information. MU may collect and process personal information that may be sensitive in nature. Sensitive data is defined by global data privacy laws as data concerning racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, genetics or biometric health, sexual orientation, gender identity, and criminal records.
If you submit personal information to MU while you are located in the EU, the following additional rights apply to you:.
· The right to obtain confirmation of as to whether your personal data is being processed, where it is, access to that data and a copy of that data (you may be charged a fee for the administrative costs associated with producing a copy);
· The right to object to the processing of your personal information and to restrict its processing;
· The right to have your personal information erased, unless MU is required by law, regulation or policy to keep it;
· The right to receive your personal information held by MU in a structured, commonly used machine-readable format and the right to transmit that data to another data controller.
You also hereby waive any right to privacy or confidentiality regarding MU’s reporting to the appropriate authorities if you are seriously ill, suffer an injury, are the victim or perpetrator of harassment, whether on or off campus, are the victim or the perpetrator of sexual or gender-based misconduct or of criminal behavior, whether on or off campus, and you grant MU staff, faculty, and administrators authority to report to the appropriate authorities any and all such incidents, under applicable laws, whether or not it involves disciplinary action.

- I will help you develop skills introduced in this program.
- I will treat you with respect and consideration.
- I will not engage in therapy or counseling.
- I will not provide medical advice.
- I will not provide personal advice.
- I will review and respond to your progress each week on a scheduled review date. If this date needs to change, I will do my best to inform you of this in advance.
- I will not share information about you unless I have concerns about safety and I need to share your information to keep you or someone else safe. If that happens, I will share the minimum amount necessary and will try to discuss it with you in advance.
